| Darwinia Movie! |
Those who subscribe to PC Gamer got their copies today, and along with the Darwinia article came a Fantastic Movie!. The whole thing looks absolutely awesome, but I dont need to talk about it, take a look for yourselves!
For those of you on slower connections, who don't want to download a 40Mb movie, Ive taken some grabs from the video, so that you don't miss out totally ;)

Chris was also giving some information on file sizes while chatting on IRC earlier:
those landscapes are all fractally generated at runtime, the sprites are 16x16, the models are low poly, the sky effect is made up of an 8x8 bitmap in 2 colours :) :)
DeepSmeg: the game is currently under 1mb :)
55mb is huge, procedural content is the way forward :)
